Experience
Research and engineering
My work has moved between rocket hardware, mission programs, and methods for assessing risk.
Taiwan Space Agency
At TASA, I worked on launch-vehicle architecture and requirements. I also wrote the bus specification for ONGLAISAT; the mission later received the 2026 AIAA Small Satellite Mission of the Year award.
I returned to TASA in the summer of 2025 to adapt aircraft safety assessment methods for the MARAHO sounding rocket.
Advanced Rocket Research Center
I led development of ARRC’s first liquid rocket engine and one hybrid engine. I also served as safety lead and propulsion engineer for the guided HTTP-3A rocket.
Across these projects, I led more than 30 hot-fire tests and investigated hardware and performance problems.
Purdue University
My Ph.D. research develops a Bayesian approach to launch-vehicle readiness when reliability data are limited. Working with the Value through Reliability, Safety, and Sustainability Lab, I integrate engineering assessments and test results to estimate risk and guide decisions on further verification.
